It stays perfectly clear during the winter months.The sludge comes to the top of the water for a while which you need to scoop off with a net. Then after that it will stay perfectly clear with if continue treatments according to the directions. I have had koi pounds for over 20 years and have tried many ways to keep the water clear and these two products are the best by far. Great stuff. Just be patient for a little while and you have a great pond.
