At least that's what the video I watched from the manufacturer said. Also, the way it goes on, is very granular. I would explore youtube videos to see if there are any good recommendations for applying plaster under water and best quality products. I saw a few that demonstrated the "how-to". **Q: is there an alternative to weighing the powder. a measurement in cups maybe? just mixing small amounts at a time. thanks!** A: People mix different amounts of the acrylic with the powder, based on how concerned they are about the plaster sticking. I tend to add enough acrylic to get the powder to start clumping, then add water to get the consistency I need. I've heard of people only using acrylic and no water. If you end up needing more acrylic, it's reasonably priced at Home Depot. In this way, no measuring is necessary. **Q: Can pool patch plaster repair be painted?** A: Yes! We redid our entire pool and painted it ourselves. Looks really good! **Q: how long needs to cure before filling the pool w/water?** A: usual curing time check product for recommended time ## Frequently Bought Together - Pool Patch White Pool Plaster Repair Kit, 25-Pound, White - INSL-X Waterborne, Semi-Gloss Acrylic Pool Paint, Ocean Blue, 1 Gallon --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co/products/69298682-white-pool-plaster-repair-kit-25-pound-white](https://www.desertcart.co/products/69298682-white-pool-plaster-repair-kit-25-pound-white) --- *Product available on Desertcart Colombia* *Store origin: CO* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
