Excelent
Been using two of these for 6 months with a couple mini PC "home servers", work incredibly well. I was concerned about the heat disipation, as the previous TB3 NICs I owned, either had noisey fans, or were all built as massive heat-sinks and weighed a ton - by comparison this thing is very light... but its still passively cooled, and I fully expected to have stability and speed issues.. but I've had zero issues. For people complaining about issues, do note, this is just a bog-standard Realtek... so any issues are probably related to drivers.

Fails to work on Windows 11
I don't typically write reviews but I wanted to make people aware this does NOT work on Windows 11. I tried the drivers from their website, which was insecure and doesn't use https/ssl, and also from the Marvell website, and neither allowed the device to be recognised on windows. The unit itself works, it's just Windows 11 fails to recognise it. So have to give 1 star as it is advertised as working on Windows.

Not very pretty but pretty quick.
I bought one of these 10g adaptors last month to go along with my new M4 Mac Mini and it has been faultless in that time. Not a single lost connection. I had previously bought another one several months before for my Windows 11 laptop and had a mostly positive experience with it (some occasional dropouts). I'm not sure if the issues I had with it were related to the drivers, my tinkering or the device itself. On Windows it's been 90% stable. On Mac, 100% stable. Also, on the Mac I didn't have to set about locating drivers. The device was instantly recognised and was in use within seconds. The speed doesn't disappoint. I get great speeds to and from my Synology NAS and when I'm using SSD caching (with NVME drives in the NAS) the connection speed maxes out and things fly! That means I can scrub through 4k video footage stored on the NAS effortlessly. The device does get very hot but not dangerously so. From reading lots of reviews of various 10g adaptors it seems that heat is common among all of them. Just to be on the safe side but not necessary I have a small USB desk fan (on low fan speed settings) pointed at it which renders it cold to the touch. IOCrest could learn a thing or two about aesthetics from QNAP and their 10g adaptors. I would happily pay £100 if the IOCrest resembled the QNAP. The IOCrest leaves me wanting to hide it from view but it is utilitarian and shouldn't be too harshly judged. Eventually I may velcro it to the underside of my desk due to the connection being so stable and thusly not requiring constant unplugging/replugging of the ethernet cable. Even though it's been working superbly for me on my Mac I would still like to see the price drop to below the £100 mark. If it were priced at around £80 it would be fantastic value for money. As it stands it's merely "acceptable" VFM. If you're in the market for a 10g ethernet adaptor but don't want to/can't afford to go for one of the pricier and prettier options out there then I can certainly recommend the IOCrest, particularly if you're Mac user. Note: If you're the "adventurous" type and also don't mind a two week wait you can currently buy one of these for about £80 on a big Chinese selling site. That is where I got the first of my two adaptors from.

10gbe device with no valid, working drivers
Device not recognized on my devices. Links in provided documentation (qr code and URL) point to different places. One is invalid the other points to location that does not have relevant drivers for download. A very poor show. I will endeavour to stick to recognized brands going forwards !!!!

This thing works as inteded, but when it gets hot it sometimes disconnects/disables the unit. I opened mine up and placed thermal pads on the compononents and that seems to have fixed the problem.

Have not used it for extended periods of time, but seems to work correctly when combined with a USB4 or Thunderbolt4 port. It does get HOT, so don't put anything on top of it. Windows 11 driver worked just fine out of the box, but I did tweak some settings. I do this on all my Ethernet adapters. If your USB4 port is not also Thunderbolt, this device will not show up as a network adapter. It uses the Aquantia chip. It will show up as a USB device with no function.
