Very stable, thin and light and can be used with or without an Apple Pencil. *by J***M on December 26, 2024* This is a really slick, origami-style case that is nice and thin and provides great protection along with a holder to keep an iPad pencil. It works perfectly whether or not you want to be in landscape or portrait mode. I thought it would be somewhat unstable, but it works just fine even when typing on the keyboard. It's also fantastic that the Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 includes magnets to hold itself closed and also provides for the sleep/wake function. When closed, it also holds the Apple Pencil onto the magnetic charger on the side of the iPad. Overall, the pencil is almost impossible to knock off, even when it's floating around in a travel bag. Not using a pencil? The strap folds over far enough to use without a pencil also. Fantastic design. This case is fantastic for protection and doesn't add too much bulk.
