Q: I am concerned with the 1500l lumens description. Will this projector good for a family room? Sometime we leave a light on for the kids

I do the same and has very little effort on the picture quality as long as the light source is not shining directly on the screen. It's an excellent projector and 4K is awesome.

Q: I am wondering if there is a difference between the black model and the white model? The price difference made me curious.

I bought a small plastic plate with a Velcro strap to mount the power brick to the wall. Works great.

Q: Can I airplay my macbook to work?

I do not know; but you can try through it WiFi/Bluetooth.
