The matte finish does look pretty cool and people have commented on it/asked where to buy - just be aware that the surface isn't as robust as a clear glass screen protector and can scratch/scuff pretty easily - I left my car keys in the same pocket for a morning and now have a marked protector - that said, it's only visible when the screen is locked (black) not when open (lit), and the protectors are cheap to replace. Will continue to buy.
