I can definitely see myself wearing this as a base layer for outdoor sports when I need to stay warm, but it’s also comfortable enough for something as simple as a casual walk on a cold day. I haven’t owned or washed it long enough to comment on whether the material will pill over time, but my first impression of the quality is very good. I’ll update my review if that changes after more wear and washing. Overall, this exceeded my expectations for the price. If warmth is what you’re looking for, I would definitely recommend it.
