The Spec Ops Tools 2.5 LBS Blacksmith Hammer is a demolition powerhouse in a compact, mobile platform. RPG (Refined Power Geometry) head for explosive smashing power. Utilizes a tapered peen side for metal shaping and concentrated demolition. This model includes a removable, Santoprene™ mallet cap for non-marring applications. This offers the utility of a rubber or dead-blow mallet without carrying additional tools and suppresses excess jobsite noise when striking metal tools or surfaces. Built for the most punishing work, this sledge is equipped with a shock-absorbing, bi-material grip to dampen vibration and preserve your arm for all-day use. Review: Good little baby hammer - I bought this hammer to drive rebar into the ground. The rebar was painted orange on one end so that the snow plow would know where out driveway ended and the lawn started. He just had to plow between the orange rebar. This hammer was a good weight to do just that. Drove the rebar into the ground. You just have to be careful, hit the head on the rebar and not the handle. But, even then it seem to be good for some misses. Good quality hammer for hitting rebar or causing some attitude adjusting. Although for attitude adjusting it's probably better to actually use your words and not a hammer, since the hammer will definitely cause long term (or short term, depending) damage. We don't want damage to anything. Use the hammer responsibly and the hammer will be a great tool for years to come! You have to be put somewhere that you don't want to be put, so you don't try to adjust any attitudes. Just saying. It's a good hammer, but know where to best apply it. Is a heavy baby hammer that can hammer things better than a normal hammer. 5 stars.

Hi it’s Kris from intangible creation! I’m going to upload a long video on YouTube later but I wanted to come back here and let you know how awesome this hammer is! It’s amazing the weight is perfectly balanced even tho it’s heavy it’s so fun to carry you don’t even care about the weight it strikes perfectly and quick due to a perfectly sized handle with a lot of attention to detail on the handle and head of the hammer your grip won’t slip and you will be able to alternate plenty of different grip positions to reduce fatigue amazing product could easily cost more be thankful it doesn’t. Last but not least it’s heavy but I did use it to make a nice zinc and copper bracelet both soft metals and I didn’t destroy the piece even the the hammer is way oversized but I’ll just be ordering the 2.5Lb aswell since this went perfectly
