Review: Good quality lunchbox, for those wanting an alternative to plastic. - I specifically wanted a Stainless Steel lunchbox, as I don’t like plastic, and found glass alternatives too heavy and fragile. The lid on this has an integrated valve, which helps to ‘vacuum seal’ the lunch box, making it leakproof, this does however make it a little tricky to remove, so I perhaps wouldn’t recommend it for younger children. It is very hygienic, easy to clean, and does not get ‘tainted’ by stronger smelling foods, nor impart any taste to food stored within it. The silicone strap and integrated fork are a nice touch, as is the slot-in divider. It is a decent size and not too heavy. I am happy with my purchase.

**Q: I read that this was dishwasher safe but in the instruction manual, it said not to wash the lid in the dishwasher?**
A: The Lid has a silicone seal around its edge which may cause cleaning issues if food particles get trapped under the silicone seal, i believe this to be the only issue, i've placed every part of this in the dishwasher lid and all, i just give the lid an extra wipe down afterwords, about 60+ complete dishwashes later lid and all still perfect. i hope this helps.
