Wow this bike is perfect. Exactly as described. Works perfectly. I read through the assembly instructions when it arrived and I was a little intimidated. Then I put it together and it was really easy. Everything fit perfectly. I immediately started using it improving my health Everytime I use it. Great deal for the price. I highly recommend.

Put simply, I just wanted a recumbent bike to use while I watch TV and/or listen to podcasts as opposed to just sitting on the couch/laying in bed - I already go to the gym so I wasn't looking for an intense workout machine. I spent a lot of time looking for a recumbent bike which is not the easiest thing to do especially if you use an extension like Fakespot which gave these reviews an F. I gambled because 1) hard to beat the price and 2) because Yosuda has a somewhat decent reputation in the exercise bike space. Pros 1. Packaged well (a lot of tape, styrofoam, and zipties but no obvious scratches or dents) and relatively easy to assemble. There is ~5 minute Youtube video and it can be done solo in under an hour (I could totally see 30 minutes if you have already done it before or are in a rush) 2. I'm 5'10 and there is no heel touching the floor as you may read in other reviews for other bikes. 3. It's compact which is great for my apartment but also spacious enough. I thought by seeing that grandma in all those promo pictures on the Amazon page that I would have needed to put the seat all the way back but that is not the case. Definitely think someone taller would be able to use it comfortably as well. 4. The electronics work. It's a simple non lit LCD screen but time tracking works pretty well and it will stop if you're not peddling so you're only getting active time. It does reset once you reach 100 minutes. Heart rate sensor has been pretty accurate for me. 5. It is quiet. Not like whisper quiet (and I do feel I can hear something in there but it easily get drowned out with media) but you're not going to disturb neighbors. 6. Easy to rest my iPad (even with its case) on (and I do mean "on" and not "in") the device holder. 7. Sturdy but lightweight - doesn't move too much when peddling fast but also not something I intend to do very often Cons 1. Tension is not very impressive and I'm sure I set it up correctly. There is a difference between 1 and 16 but I did not notice much of a difference between 1 and 8 for example. There are other bikes that promote 8 levels of resistance and I'm sure the amount is probably similar to this. Half the reason I'm docking a star. 2. Seat can be uncomfortable but that's to be expected especially at this price point. Also I tend to be on it for awhile given that I'm watching TV and listening to stuff. Actively looking for a cushion. 3. Pedals seem to unscrew when peddling backwards - the other half of the star loss 4. In the instructions, states it's not for therapeutic purposes - again, not for me but given the grandma, it could be misleading. 5. Also in the instructions states that parts should be lubricated monthly (which I wasn't expecting) but gives no indication on what's best to use and how best to use it without damaging the equipment. Given the lack of reviews and Fakespot's F score (as of this writing), I wanted to write this review because I'm overall pleased that the gamble paid off. If anything goes wrong, I'll be sure to update this review but looking forward to this affordable bike decreasing my sedentary time!

I am a 69" male in my 60's, and I purchased this machine to perform the cardio portion of the Modified Levine Protocol. Thus far, I have used the exercise machine for 6 exercise sessions, mostly of 20 minute duration, employing various resistance levels. This machine is extremely well designed, and the manufacturing quality is high. Since some reviewers reported assembly difficulties, I allowed plenty of time and double-checked each step. Assembly, including discarding the packaging material, required about 3 hours for me. Note the following tips: One hollow bar exists solely to sacrificially protect one machine leg during shipping. It should simply be discarded. As noted in the instructions, the pedal threads for one of the pedals are left-handed (so that it won't unscrew during use). I particularly like how the machine is quiet, stable, and compact. It is easy to move the unit: Simply lift up on bar at the rear of the machine, and it can be rolled on the rollers on the front. This does not require much strength. The seat can easily be positioned to any arbitrary point in the adjustment range. I positioned the seat about 2" from the maximum pedal distance. Depending on individual preference, users with an inseam is longer than 34" might find the maximum pedal distance too short. The "computer" is fairly basic, but it is easy to use. The pulse sensor seems to be quite accurate, generally reading within 1-2 bpm of my wrist-worn fitness tracker. Really like having the pulse information on the display (vs. having to check my fitness tracker). The seat back is fixed, but I found the angle to be just right. However, I put a small cushion between the seat back and the small of my back, for additional lumbar support. The machine has a wide range of resistance levels, and I had no difficulty finding enough resistance to quickly elevate my heart rate into exercise zone 2 with speed of about 15. In short, I'm completely pleased with my purchase. I felt that I received an excellent value/cost ratio, and I would recommend this product.

Works great, good value at $170 plus tax. Easy to assemble, feels very solid. Perfect for rehabbing a total knee replacement, as it is very easy to get on and off the bike (upright bikes are very difficult after a total knee). Hard to beat for the price!

This recumbent bicycle came highly recommended with very positive reviews. I purchased it in early July and found it easy to assemble. It was quiet and worked well until September. The problems started slowly—intermittent spells of small noises, clicks and clacks. When I initially tried to contact customer support i received no reply. The noises got louder and more frequent—something was obviously wrong with the turning mechanism. Finally, the company must have learned of my concerns because they reached out to me to elaborate on the issues I was experiencing. At this point, they were quite apologetic about the delay and offered to replace the bicycle. Within a week I received my new bicycle. The assembly was quick and easy with the parts well marked and packaged. In addition to the enclosed instruction booklet there were instruction to access a you tube video. My new bicycle is quiet and runs smoothly. The customer service really came through for me and it is clear that they stand behind their product. I recommend this product, because a product is only as good as the service that supports it.

I don't think you'll find a more compact recumbent bike, perfect for my one bedroom apartment. It's solid as a rock too... I'm pretty sure the few reviews claiming otherwise, specifically complaints about seat movement, are almost certainly due to user error. The seat adjustment function is the only difference I'm aware of between the two product options (black vs silver model). The black version I purchased uses a knob that you pull out and then repeg into one of the few available holes in the metal the seat rests on, but after pegging it into a different seat position you still need to then rotate that same knob clockwise to tighten down the seat. It's fairly unique to have a knob that functions using a pull and peg adjustment mechanism, but also requires rotation using screw like threads to tighten down. If you don't rotate/tighten the seat adjustment knob after moving the seat to a different peg location, the complaints about the seat instability make perfect sense. If you do rotate/tighten the seat adjustment knob, there is zero instability at all it is solid as a rock. You definitely want to watch the assembly video, which included on the amazon product page, just cycle through the product pictures to find it. A few of the negative reviews I read before taking a chance and purchasing this obviously did not watch that just over seven minute long video, which resulted in the user error they were complaining about... Like the guy who found it "impossible" to complete the assembly step where you attach the tension adjustment knob because he specifically states "you have to assemble at tension level 16, the highest setting,", when in fact the video clearly explains you must adjust the tension down to the lowest level to assemble it. Unhelpful reviews resulting from user error aside... I did have the same issue several other reviews reported where the 2 screws needed to attach the electric display panel were missing from the package I received. This was certainly annoying and the manufacturer's email based customer support did take an entire week to respond to my email. Figuring I probably wouldn't receive any response to my customer support email based on other negative product reviews I just went to my local hardware store and purchased the missing screws for $0.62. The product assembly instructions at least provided sufficient size information for the missing screws ("M5*10"), the "M5-.80x10" size screws I purchased fit perfectly. I am very glad I bothered dealing with this small hassle rather than allowing my justified annoyance at this inconvenience cause me to return the bike. In the month since I purchased this bike, I have ridden 150 miles on it according to the bike's odometer. If you need a no frills exercise tool, especially with limited space like an in an apartment, and you don't mind dealing with the possibility of some assembly hassle and slow response from product support if the unit you receive has any actual defects unlike mine that has worked perfectly; I don't think you will find a better value than this bike. The ride is smooth and whisper quiet. The tension adjustment on the unit I received is more than sufficient for me and I have been involved in varying degrees of athletics my entire life. I am six ft tall and weight just under 200lbs and this thing has been very comfortable for me to ride. In the month I have spent riding this thing, the improvement I have felt in the lumbar spine condition I first began experiencing symptoms of several months ago has me very hopeful this few hundred dollar investment may literally save me from needing spinal surgery. This is a good, solid bike and is REALLY quiet. It was relatively easy to assemble and my only significant complaint is that the screen is NOT backlit so it is difficult to see unless the lighting in the room is very bright. Also, the instructions in the manual for using the screen functions is, to me, not as clear as it could be.

Fairly easy to assemble but required two of us. To get the plastic over the foot treads was extremely difficult, perhaps because it was cold in Canada although we had 18° internally. (That Celsius of course we are not savages). Aside from that we took three days to assemble it slowly. The bike itself for exercise is super. My father-in-law, my wife and I use it every day and love it. I could not recommend it or highly for seniors who needs regular exercise particularly to strengthen their legs.

Le dossier est trop petit, il n'arrive pas à le bonne place dans le dos.. Correctif qui pourrait être apporté dossier rectangle 24po de haut par 12 po de large et là ce serait plus confortable... Mais je m'en sers qu'en même avec une légère modification au dossier pour être plus confortable, à part ce petit problème , bon produit en général... JE LE RECOMMANDE QU'EN MÊME

Was very easy to assemble. Very smooth operation. Recorder easy to understand and use. Would highly recommend this bike. Just an update on this bike. I had encountered a problem with the bike. E-mailed customer service. We identified the problem. Sent out replacement parts. Excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this product to family or friends.
