Very comfortable
When I bought them the price was incredible. Under $80 now they are over a hundred. I'll buy from a different on line retailer for my next purchase. Amazon is acting like whores jacking up the price

Comfortable hike. Not remotely water resistant
I'd give it fewer stars if not for having worse issues with Merrell and Rocky with comfort, pain and fit.Picture is 3rd wearing, moist morning grass 30m walking. Socks/feet wet. If you are going to deceive customers on water proofing or resistance, have the courtesy to scotch guard like Merrell and give a few months of function. "SlipStream waterproof BBP membrane"Very tight/difficult to put on laced properly with zipper down. Past ATAC have been better in this regard with a high instep.511 has generally been consistently good for me for long walk/hikes outdoors. Just fed up with gabage performance on moisture.

5.11 has always been a well thought out and well built products, these boots are no exception! Comfortable, Lightweight and durable. They're an excellent choice if you value your own feet.. Also a great value for the price.
