Despite the description none of the inserts fitted a 10mm drill. **Q: Can someone confirm if the drill sizes are imperial or metric? It says 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12mm, but some reviews the sizes actually are imperial.** A: It was imperial. The inserts aern't labeled but none fit a 10mm drill. **Q: What is the minimum panel thickness it clamps to.** A: The minimum thickness the clamp closes to is approx. 10mm , but the actual block that holds the drill dies is approx. 16mm, so you would need to bear in mind what size dowels to use and how much is left wood around the dowel , I hope this helps **Q: What size are the drill holes and what is the minimum panel thickness it clamps to** A: Unknown since they wern't marked but they weren't metric as none to fit 10mm drill. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made and perfect out the box - no regrets *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 28 February 2021* So I bought this for creating some (solid) hardwood floating shelves. My preferred brackets are all based on imperial sizes (7/16 holes) - so 11mm drill bits.Some users have rated this 1 star based on the fact it is imperial measurements - even though that is clear from the images - and the metric equivalent drill bits will only be 0.1mm out so it doesn't both me in the slightest - still far more accurate than building my own jig.There are centring lines and holes on the side of the jig that make it very easy to align.I note some users have mentioned having to rebuild the jig as it wasn't centred out of the box - again not an issue for me, perfectly centred and ready to use out of the box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not as accurate as you would except *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 December 2020* Could be better, the left side gets out of balance. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 April 2021* The quality of this product is excellent,it did the job prefect every time and the self centring made the whole process so simple.
