After PC-11 has fully cured it can be sawed, sanded, tapped, drilled, machined, filed and painted. It can also be tinted when mixing. We're not going to lie - underwater repairs aren't easy and they should be avoided whenever possible, but if you're unable to carry out the repair in the dry, then we've got the tips to help make your repair a success. Use PC-Clear to re-attach pieces and PC-11 to fill holes, pits and cracks for a professional finish. For the rebuilding stage of your repair, all you’ll need is a stick/knife and board for mixing on (disposable or use methylated spirit to wipe clean after use) and sandpaper. You’ll have approx. 30 minutes to apply PC-11 to any chips or cracks. Take the time to get a finish you’re happy with. Give it a day to cure, then use fine sandpaper or a Dremel to remove the excess. Would it be cheaper to use 3 layers of this ply, secured with marine glue? **Q: Trying to match cosmetics! can i apply a bathroom silicone sealant over the top of cured pc-11? or waterproof tile grout?** A: Yes you are able to use silicone sealant over PC-11 once it has cured. **Q: Have water seeping through breeze blocks at exit to a pond? The blocks are dripping water and the level is going right down ! Will this stop it?** A: Breeze Blocks are porous so I suppose water will seep through. I'm sure this product would cure it if plastered all over the pond side of the blocks but I am sure there is a simpler and cheaper way to do it. Paint maybe? **Q: Could you repair a crack in a concrete pond with this.** A: Hello, yes, PC-11 would be suitable for this project or you may want to consider PC-7 which is our "tough job" epoxy. Both are incredibly strong once cured. Being so strong, these epoxies are thick and sticky. We recommend mixing on a piece of scrap wood or cardboard to make mixing easier and if this is an outdoor repair we'd recommend setting the tubs somewhere warm to reduce the viscosity.
