A: They can but without a pc almost all of the cool lighting effects and simulated surround sound won’t work.

**Q: does this speaker supports 220-240 volt? (euro-uk)**
A: There's a picture in this review that has a picture of the back.  It shows input of 100 to 240v.

**Q: Could this be linked to a tv?**
A: These speakers support USB and AUX inputs. You can connect these to a TV via AUX cable but the lighting feature relies on the micro usb input.

**Q: these or Audio Engine A2+?**
A: I went with the G560’s as you’ll need to spend additional funds on a sub for the A2+.
