Review: great - all good, easy to build, vehicles are a little fiddly and annoying at first but once you get the hang its easy enough, the men are easy to build and is great value for money and the plastic is quite good quality

It does contain enough to play the learning game on a 3x3 foot area and get used to the rules. You'll need to add either a second core set or several of the expansion units to reach two full armies, more if you want to add a great deal of variation to your army lists. The game is just so much fun. The rules are simple with just enough depth to bring tactics into play and with ample expansion units there's a lot of room for variation in play style and army lists. There's really endless hours of re-playability to be had if you get into this game. Requires a small amount of assembly and ideally painting, which can be a fun hobby in itself.

all good, easy to build, vehicles are a little fiddly and annoying at first but once you get the hang its easy enough, the men are easy to build and is great value for money and the plastic is quite good quality

Whilst this is just the "core set" and really less than 1/2 of what you'll need to be able to field two full 800 point armies. It does contain enough to play the learning game on a 3x3 foot area and get used to the rules. You'll need to add either a second core set or several of the expansion units to reach two full armies, more if you want to add a great deal of variation to your army lists. The game is just so much fun. The rules are simple with just enough depth to bring tactics into play and with ample expansion units there's a lot of room for variation in play style and army lists. There's really endless hours of re-playability to be had if you get into this game. Requires a small amount of assembly and ideally painting, which can be a fun hobby in itself.
