## Description

The first Electro-Voice battery-powered speaker and the first waterproof model of its kind, the Everse 8 leverages decades of Electro-Voice engineering expertise, along with the latest technological advances, to provide a truly portable, wireless audio experience at an unmatched price and performance level relative to products available on the market. Whether for live music, vocal reinforcement and/or audio playback, musicians, DJs, production/rental companies, fitness/activity instructors and other professional, amateur and recreational users can benefit from the superior sound quality of Everse 8, ease of use and all-in-one speaker design, a concept that includes real professional audio performance for a wider range of users than ever before. Everse 8 has a black or white finish, adding an aesthetic angle to its versatility. Real professional audio performance. With a maximum SPL rating of 121dB and wide, even 100º x 100º coverage, Everse 8's capabilities challenge its compact format and set new uncompromising benchmarks for its product segment. Main components include an 8-inch woofer mounted using EV's patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) port design, and a raised output titanium tweeter mounted on a customizable constant directivity waveguide. And, as with all Electro-Voice portable speakers, the reliability of the Everse 8 system is verified through extensive music abuse and endurance testing. Battery Powered Convenience. Everse 8 is powered by a custom-designed, fully optimized high capacity lithium-ion battery pack for audio use and provides great power for up to 12 hours of runtime. Protection circuits reduce the risk of the battery being discharged at such a low voltage that it can no longer be recharged, for example, after long periods of storage. Tool-free screws make removing the battery effortlessly. Uncompromised sound quality, unplugged. IP43 rated air-conditioned design. In combination with the rugged polypropylene housing, the use of the included heated inlet cover allows the Everse 8 to comply with the IP43 rating (water resistant for splashes and light rain) when battery operated and while streaming Bluetooth®. The integrated base with non-slip rubber pads ensure the system stays in place. Take the Everse 8 outside to play music on the streets, marching band practice, a backyard grill or wherever speakers are needed, whatever the forecast. COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT: Every detail in Everse 8 is designed to maximize easy lift and transport, while reinforcing EV's reputation for real-world durability. An ergonomically designed soft-touch handle and a high-quality lightweight structure make it a breeze to move and mount the Everse 8. Place it in the optional tote bag and head to the concert. It's the all-in-one professional audio system you can take on the go. Expandable functionality. The built-in 12V DC port provides convenient battery power from Everse 8, perfect for powering a wireless microphone system. Attach the optional accessory tray to the top of an Everse 8 to secure receiver hardware in place. A charging port for mobile devices is included if a recharge is needed when streaming. Place on a tripod for longer reach, position the long side down as a stage wedge using the 55° monitor angle or use it upright with the 30° backward angle to project upward out of the presentation area. For stereo setups, Everse 8 is equipped for true Bluetooth® wireless stereo streaming. Flexible features for truly autonomous setup, from start to finish. Powered by Dynacord. Everse 8 is powered by a high-efficiency Class D amplifier and DSP module developed in collaboration with the world-class audio electronics engineering team of EV sister brand Dynacord. Professional features include a built-in four-channel digital mixer with studio-quality and processing effects, 48V phantom power, and feedback suppression.

A: There are two power ports +12vdc and USB C so you can plug your wireless mike or device dock directly into the speaker, Very nice option, to avoid dangles and not enough lengths. These run from internal battery, so AC input charges that.
Love my Everse 8.
