If you use more than necessary it does 'smoosh' out and get into your mouth. It will stick to the cracks between your teeth and make them a light pink. Its easy enough to get rid of by wiping, using a flosser, or swishing some water. If it still persists you can brush it out with a damp toothbrush. The taste isn't great, but its not offensive either. Just a momentary unpleasant taste. Texture is bizarre on the tongue, kinda like sticky sand? It feels fine on the gums and teeth, maybe a little tacky before it takes hold.
