Review: A reliable and well-made classic timekeeper - This whimsical and timeless clock is an office favorite. I keep it in view to stay on time and on track with meetings. I also keep it within my computer camera's view during Zoom calls. Quality materials, the clock flips quietly, and the overall look draws positive comments. A retro and fun way to track the time without a watch or a phone dictating your every second. Follow directions when time changes take place and only move the rotating wheel in the right direction or you will damage the clock. If you're looking for something unique, a classic nod to the past and reliability in keeping time, you've hit the jackpot.
Review: 1st Clock Was Broken, Great Customer Service and Overall Great Product - UPDATE 10-4-17: I received a free replacement clock last week, and it works perfectly. It looks great on my desk and I've already received a few compliments on it. It's not loud at all which is great (I don't like the traditional ticking sound of clocks in a silent office), but if you're listening for it you can hear when the minute changes. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the customer service in receiving a free clock due to the first clock not working, and the product itself is great for the price. I will not update this review any further unless something goes wrong! UPDATE 9-20-17: I received a refund for the clock I originally received which did not work. The seller contacted me and offered to replace the item - I will provide another update once I receive the new clock. ORIGINAL REVIEW 8-24-17: Other reviews stated that numbers had fallen off in transport; while I did not have that issue, the clock was still broken when I received it. I unpacked the clock and inserted the D battery, and it made a "whirring" sound for a few seconds and stopped. It was silent, and the numbers never changed after 10+ minutes. I even went and bought a new pair of D batteries to make sure it wasn't the battery I had, but that made no difference. Returned and will purchase the nearly identical clock I found which costed ~$9 more. I would not recommend this clock.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: When the numbers flip do they make a sound or is it silent? If it makes a sound, is it loud?**
A: When the numbers fall the sound is like a pen click. However the clock itself is not silent either. You hear the motor in a otherwise quiet room. Also fun fact: I have had it for a year. I have lost 2 of the number tabs. No clue why they just fell off. Other that 2 minutes an hour the time looks goofy it's a cool little unit. I would buy another.

**Q: Is this clock metal or plastic?**
A: It's metal and an awesome clock!

**Q: why would the manufacturer recoment a carbon zinc battery instead of an akaline?**
A: Carbon zinc (often known as heavy duty) batteries don't have the bad habit of leaking like alkaline batteries do.

**Q: can you detach the metal base and hang the clock on the wall?**
A: Sorry , Can't hang on the wall

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great office clock!
*by T***S on October 22, 2014*

UPDATE 02/27/26: I have changed offices a few times since I originally purchased this clock in 2013. I'm glad to tell you that the clock is still operating, nearly 13 years later!!! I was looking to see if it was still available because a coworker asked about it. Glad to see its still here. I have changed batteries on average once per year. I haven't noticed the clock numbers falling off. It has survived 3 major moves. Still one of my most often commented office gadgets (of which I'm a collector!) I purchased this clock 1 year ago. It has been a great addition to my office. I like the small amount of noise that it makes actually. Let's me know its working. I've been using the same single D-cell battery since I first turned it on. I think I read somewhere that it'd get 6 months on a battery, well its been a year, still ticking away. As far as time adjustments, it gains about 2 minutes every six months, so its really not bad. My only complaint was how long it took to get it. Since it came from overseas it did seem like it took forever, but I don't remember now exactly how long it was. Seemed like a month, but it could have been less. All in all, I love this clock! Hope you do too.
