It's not too large or weirdly oriented like full sized ergonomic mice, but it's large enough where my hand doesn't cramp after hours of use. The battery charge holds well enough. My mouse stays on 24-7. I use my mouse on and off, for about 12-16 hours a day. The battery lasts about a week between charges, which takes about 1 hour. The mouse wheel does feel like it was an afterthought, but it's good if you need an accurate line-by-line scroll.
