Review: Can also work well instead of Comteks - I’m a location sound mixer and needed extra IFBs for set to send a separate feed and wanted a cheap solution, these are amazing, lightweight and the added neckbands are a great touch for producers and scripty; way smaller than comteks. These are almost identical to comteks with range about 75% to around 180ft+ with line of sight and that’s in Los Angeles. It can go through small walls but not the best after about 60ft in that instance unless in an open studio. Only time I had an issue is with a crane operator who had wireless but that’s messed with everyone’s wireless units including the teradeks on set. Overall great units to have for sets and cheap to replace.
Review: Great for Churches, but see charging note in review. - This system works great for hearing challenged persons in our church. The transmitter is connected to our A/V system via the 3.5mm jack on the transmitter. We issue receivers to congregants as needed. NOTE: the USB charging port only seems to work with a combination Type A and Type C connector. For some reason Type C to Type C connectors don’t work. This is important for our transmitter which is located far away from the charging station.

I have purchased multiple of these systems for international conferences. They work amazingly well. They are so easy to use and offer clear sound. The battery lasted for a full day of use. They are so much better than smart AI headsets, that are expensive, require smart phones, stable Wifi, and offer inconsistent translation. I only wish I could buy storage cases and additional charging stations separately.
