## Description

FIFA 13 captures the drama and unpredictability of real-world football. The game creates a true battle for possession across the entire pitch, delivers freedom and creativity in attack, and connects fans to the heartbeat of the sport - and to each other - through EA SPORTS Football Club. FIFA 13 features five breakthrough gameplay innovations which revolutionize artificial intelligence, dribbling, ball control and physical play, as well as engaging online features and live services. FIFA 13 with Kinect enables you to use voice commands to manage your club’s line-up and tactics without pausing the game, shout directions on the pitch in Be A Pro, and forces you to temper the way you talk to officials. Review: The closest yet to real-life football - After buying FIFA on release day, I wanted to give it a week to write my review. After through playing of every game-mode, this is the conclusion I have come to. Gameplay: The controversial First-Touch is a great addition to the game, if sometimes over-powered with lower league teams. It really gives a realistic feel of playing football, as sprinting onto the ball with Theo Walcott will make it immensely difficult to take the ball easily. On the other hand, holding LT gives the FIFA Street-esque dribbling, where your player will make small, controlled touches to take on a defender at close quarters. The Impact Engine has been toned down well, although the Push/Pull function ends with a booking 9.5 times out of 10. Passing build-up play works much better this year, giving a more realistic football experience. Gamemodes: Ultimate Team has lost the single game mode, which is a shame but the seasons is a good idea (albeit with awful matchmaking). Head to Head is the same as it was in 12, only with the handy feature of the game saving squads when you pick your team. Career is vastly improved (even with the dodgy transfers - see Mascherano to United). I've yet to try International Management, but I can't wait to give it a go! Pro Clubs is improved, and is still my favourite gamemode. The seasons feature gives a much more long-lasting and satisfying experience, although only having cup windows is a bit annoying. Skill Games are a great addition, even though they aren't too difficult to complete. The leaderboard feature gives it longevity, and most are fun enough to come back to to hone your skills. Other Features: The EASFC catalogue is a great idea, especially with the 10,000 free credits. The only downside is that if the EASFC servers go down as they did today, your unlocked celebrations and boosts don't work. Matchday is a good idea, although I don't have much interest in playing Kick-Off matches after the first day. In other news, the servers are still poor and grass is green. Overall: The biggest fault of this game is EA, with the poor servers and need to fiddle. The game itself is fantastic though, and has room to improve. Bring on FIFA 14!
Review: desertcart DELIVERY FAIL REDEEMED! - i paid extra cash for this game to be delivered on the day of the release and desertcart have failed. this is the last mistake desertcart will make for me. if you have experienced the same problem i suggest you do as i have- DEMAND THE POSTAGE BE REFUNDED. IF THEY FAIL TO DO THIS DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT. there is nothing on desertcart that cannot be bought anywhere else. the game itself plays quite well (my brother got his from tescos for £39 at midnight), it feels very fluid and for the 1st time in like 3 years EA have actually overhauled the pro club system, lets just hope they don't nerf (make weaker)the pro teams like they did last year. EA can be pretty stupid sometimes. EDIT: since i wrote this review desertcart have refunded the money that i paid for a release day delivery. since then i have had time to read the comments left and i acknowledge that the rant above is not a review. FIFA13 is quite the football game that now thanks to server hosting instead of console hosting has eliminated modding and boosting! this is a step that should have been taken along time ago but it's here and the playing field is level for all online modes. the career mode now is far more detailed and offers many more options for a pro career. the manger mode also offers more options than previous versions. the game handles quite differently from 12, the first touch system is almost 50/50 depending on your positioning. Tactical defending is still present but is no longer as unforgiving as it was. the impact engine still occasionally causes players to trip over each other like some sort of slapstick comedy but it's something that FIFA had needed for a long time before 12. the pro club mode is the reason i play FIFA, it is great to play as part of a team and the pro clubs has almost had the overhaul it needed. the first point is that the old league system is gone and along with it the stupid points system (63pts for a win? -22 for a loss?). replacing it is an individual league system that requires your club to get a certain amount of points to avoid relegation, gain promotion and win a league title. the cup competitions have changed also, now the one cup has been replaced by four different cups unlocked as your progress up the league ladder. there are 10 leagues to progress through which are seperated into 4 tiers, non league, bronze, silver and gold leagues. this new system is fantastic and is what the pro club system needed but it is still the lack of a kit editor that is probably it's only flaw. overall if you like football you will probably have bought this game regardless of this review but if you haven't it is a wise investment and you will get you moneys worth.

## Features

- Attacking Intelligence: All-new positioning intelligence infuses attacking players with the ability to analyse plays, and to better position themselves to create new attacking opportunities. Players will work harder and smarter to break down defences, make runs that pull defenders out of position, and open passing channels for teammates. Plus, players possess an off-the-ball vision and the ability to think two plays ahead to create, curve, or alter runs to capitalize on openings as they occur.
- FIFA 13 1st Touch Control: A new system eliminates near-perfect control for every player by creating uncertainty when receiving difficult balls. Poor passes are harder to control, enabling defenders to capitalize on errant balls and poor touches. Factors such as defensive pressure, trajectory of the ball, and velocity of the pass all factor into a player's success. Players with better control and skill stand out. Fewer perfect touches, the potential to over hit passes, more opportunity for loose
- Player Impact Engine: The second generation of the award-winning physics engine expands physical play from just collisions to off-the-ball battles, giving defenders more tools to win back possession. Defenders can use their body to win possession, push and pull for position, and utilise their size and strength to force opponents into poor touches and decisions before the ball arrives.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best of its kind.
*by C***E on 27 November 2012*

If you like Fifa then no doubt you will love this. If you like Pro Evo then no doubt you will never go back to it. Improved in ways that you don't even think about. Ultimate team could be sold on it's own. The standard of it is brilliant. It's own season mode, on and offline really adds depth. Packs have got better and playing your mates has got easier. You can get so immersed in this that you forget about life. The other game modes briliant as well. The seasons online was already great before but it seems they have tweaked the difference in divisions enough now for it to feel like you are the underdog when you have been promoted. Season mode better than ever. Transfers are really top quality now, some players really are hard to buy. Gameplay tweaked to be great now. Morale is a huge addition. When you go one nil down you can feel your players get sluggish and lose that edge to their game. Vice-versa when you are winning. Crossing has been sorted out now, you can actually get on the end of them from the wings. Shooting is very saucy, can score some wonder goals when you get into. Too much to cover to be honest Just buy it, if you read up to here why are you hesitating so long? Sort it out and add to basket.
