I have pea pebbles around my stepping stone so I was able to put these down inside the pea pebbles to be flush with the rest of the landscaping. Makes a soft light to light the walkway. I replaced the battery in these 4 lights and they work great. For now. So, don't throw these glass lights out. Just replace the batteries like you would a flashlight!I've bought this style before and they lasted a few years. I bought these recently and for a few months, they were good. Now, they are not holding their charge and they do get hours of Southern California sun. The lights aren't very bright now and it's really a bummer. I like the glass cube aesthetic but if they don't last...they're not worth it. They are not cheap either.
