It's a good price too once you open the bag, make sure you keep You're Yeast fresh , you can keep it in a mason jar and use it in one of those little vacuum , seal things that seals the lids on the jars, or you can keep it in the freezer. If you're used, it does not activate your water or milk is either too hot. That you put it in and it has to be a 110° any hotter, it kills the yeast, I just learned that recently, and if it does not activate your yeast is dead, throw it out, start over or get new used. This is the best out there and this is an amazing price. It's not that hard to keep it fresh. You don't have to buy the tiny packets when you can store it yourself. The bag seal back sturdy.The baking ability is the best out there.And storage capacity is great.There's many ways to store it. In the sturdiness of the bag sits flat when you're trying to scoop it out

**Q: Does this yeast have hold or platinum in it? Just checking because it seams very expensive.**
A: In the grocery store where I live a 3 pack (.25 ounce each) is just short of $3. This is a pound (16 ounces = 64 packets) which would cost you ~$64.  So actually this is a good value ONLY if it’s really available.

**Q: I just received my packages! Is supposed to be hard as a rock? Is it spoiled?**
A: Yes. This item is vacuum packed and each package should arrived without the seal being broken. This item should arrive hard. Once you cut into the package it will release the vacuum pack and your yeast package will feel "normal"

**Q: Could you please tell me the expiration date?**
A: I purchased and received my Fleischmann's Instant Yeast in November of 2013. The two bricks that I received came with an expiration date of April 2015.  I hope that this helps you.

**Q: Can this item (Fleishchmann's Instant yeast) be used in a bread machine?   E-mail "ChuckTQ@aol.com**
A: Yes, I use it every day. Mix 1/2 the total amount of flour, the water, some sugar and yeast and let rest for 20 minutes. Then add the rest of the flour, salt and oil. This for any yeast for best bread results!

Esta levadura fue una excelente compra. Tiene buena calidad y funciona muy bien para preparar diferentes recetas de panadería como panes, pizzas, masas dulces y otros productos horneados. Es fácil de usar, ayuda a que las masas crezcan correctamente y proporciona una buena textura y sabor en las preparaciones.
