It contains a usage tag which can label the plant to not use it, or to declare that it's had it's daily check. The book and pen makes carrying out the check easy, and everything is designed to be clear and tamper proof.It's one of those things that I think gets taken for granted, but you've got to do daily checks more than just to check boxes and be compliant. Usage of faulty plant can cause serious accidents, and if you're an employer than can mean a big liability, not to mention actual bodily harm to the person involved. It's definitely worth getting in to the habit of doing checks.If you're a sub contractor you'll understand the H&S pressure lately, so this is a must if you've got on hire or self owned forklifts. Warehouses also would benefit from this, as daily checks and keeping a clear record of them will help you out if you get an audit.£70 is expensive but for anyone that works in the construction industry knows, it's all expensive.
