It's very portable, stores flat, only takes a few seconds to set up (slightly trickier to take down but still pretty quick), which is ideal for me as I don't have a studio space so I have to set up and tear down for every session. I mainly use the white base, which is translucent enough that you can fire a flash up from underneath to get a near perfect white background, or just make background replacement easier in Photoshop. I wouldn't recommend setting it up on the floor as it will be too low and you'll be on your knees - I put mine on top of my dining table which makes it the perfect height to work at standing up. It seems pretty strong and I have no worries about it taking the weight of almost anything that's a reasonable size to put on it. Review: Useless. - Cheap joints combined with a ROCK SOLID plastic sheet which is a huge task to bend around the frame. It's at least a 2 person job to get it laid on the frame and secured down in a flat position, then as soon as you attempt to use the hinges to create the curve (which is the whole point) the hinges buckle and the frame is torn apart. The problem entirely comes from the plastic sheet being too rigid, and all it wants to do it roll itself up.
