The wood shavings are collected neatly in the base of the sharpener, easy to open up and clean everything. I’ve sharpened a lot of pencils with this product, yet despite the almost insane exposed lead lengths, yet to have one break on me.Buy without hesitation. Note that it has a lot of plastic components so I don’t expect it to last forever but products that have that long life assurance don’t have this level of performance.
