When I attached it to the clock, I noticed that the time was running slow. Therefore, I would raise the leaf to speed up the stroke, but there is no adjustment on the leaf. With a really small flathead screwdriver, I opened up the jaws of the mounting hook and slid the wooden shaft upwards and then re-clamped the hook piece.
