It APPEARS that there aren't enough beads in the product. If you follow the directions, the beads start to swell up, you adjust them and let them continue to soak up the water. I ended up with a perfectly round squishy , neck wrap that's wet It feels awesome around the neck. It is a COOLING neck wrap, not a product that will go down to 69 degrees. Once it doesn't feel cool I just rotate it and it feels cool again. After about 90 minutes I open a bottle of water and resoak it so it feels cooler. I could probably go two hours before I feel the need to resoak it. I was out in 90-100 degree temps on a parking lot for 8 hours. It worked for me. Review: They must work - Bought this for my son who bikes to and from work. I'm guessing they work well, he almost never forgets them in the 100+ weather we have most of the year. I will probably repurchase for myself! ## Features - Natural Evaporative Cooling System: Our Cooling Neck Wraps use natural water evaporation with absorbent polymers that hold hundreds of times their weight in water. These cool you down by pulling heat away from your body through the natural process of evaporation, the same way your body cools itself. **Q: How many cooling beads are actually inside?** A: It only takes a very small amount of our reusable beads to fill the neck wrap when the instructions are followed properly. In fact, over soaking the beads can cause the seams to burst. **Q: How long will they stay cool?** A: All day cooling is possible with our reusable neck wraps because of the way evaporative cooling works. Occasionally, re-wet and rotate to maximize the cooling effect. **Q: How long do I soak it in water?** A: Follow the instructions printed on the package or product. These are guidelines and depending on water quality, you may need to adjust soaking time. Remove from water once the middle chamber is full or plump to prevent seams from bursting. **Q: How to care for your cooling neck wrap** A: TO CLEAN: Hand wash with mild soap and rinse well. TO DRY: Lay flat and allow to air dry (may take up to 3-4 days). To expedite, place on or near air vent. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome cooling neck wrap. *by B***S on August 2, 2026* Out of the box its very deceiving.
