They have a nice feel and tone to them, I even put them on to a Taylor steel string guitar and played and sound very warm. I previously had been using steel strings but noticed I was playing less as the strings were just so loud in the quiet apartment complex. These are a great solution and provide a soft muted sound which allows for a more quiet playing experience. I do think they're not my favourite strings ever but I am definitely playing a lot more since I hav.e changed to these.
