Review: Spot On - Having owned a pair of disappointing Frye's boots in the same style that cost me nearly three times the price of these my expectations weren't that high, however other reviews gave me the courage to take the plunge. Initial reaction is 'wow'. The boots are a perfect fit. I wasn't looking forward to the struggle with getting them on, but a set of very helpful instructions (so simple, but so right) ensured they went straight on without any trouble. They look good, seem well made. If they last as long as the Fryes (which wasn't long enough given their price) I'll happily stump up for another pair, in fact I plan to buy another pair in a couple of months if all goes as I hope, in case they decide to stop making them. I have wide feet and find some brands too narrow, but I chose my exact size and they fit perfectly. Half a size down would have been too tight even allowing for break in.
