The loops are made with Timothy hay and thyme, and they’re quite high in fibre with natural ingredients and no artificial colours. They’re also meant for other small pets like guinea pigs and chinchillas, and are handy for hand-feeding to help with bonding. I paid £2.99, which feels reasonable. With Amazon Prime delivery and returns, it was a simple purchase if anything went wrong.

My incredibly spoiled house rabbit has a treat or two in the evening as the family sits down to relax and I wanted to mix-up what he has so he’s not always having dried Fenugreek disks or Niblots. I bought these because of the good reviews and the ingredients seemed good. Well, I’ve unleashed a fluffy little monster. He liked to demand his treats before, but now? Heaven help the fool who gets in between him and his meadow loops! (He likes the two flavours I’ve tried). He adores them. He demolishes them and licks up the crumbs he creates. He also becomes very friendly when these come out (hmm, I wonder why!) and will clamber all over you to get them. He’s normally not that keen on being on people’s laps, but if one of these is on offer, suddenly it’s lap time. The only downside is how demanding he gets when he’s not given one quickly enough - they’re terrible for his manners :)
