Review: Fantastic tool box for truck, but pricey - Needed a tool box that had a low profile for the bed of my truck. This is used to hold an air compressor, tie downs, lug wrench and other items to free up space under the rear seat. I didn't want anything too large that would eat up a lot of square footage in the truck's bed and ended up with the Pelican. It's roomy enough but the walls of the case come inwards. I'm guessing to improve the weather sealing but I would have rather seen a stronger gasket seal and have the inch or so space inside the case. Have the side walls come straight up to meet the lid instead of having the lip. Speaking of weather sealing, the case holds up nicely. I do have a bed cover, but a few times it's rained and I had the cover rolled up. No water inside the Pelican. Latches are firm, but not too much so. There are plenty of anchor points to secure the case to prevent it from sliding around. It sits low enough that I can stack lumber on top of it without losing too much on an angle and narrow enough, I can slide stuff to the side of the case. It is pricey but I suspect this case will last a good long time. I'd rather spend a bit on a case that lasts, than less on a case I have to replace every few years.
Review: A super sturdy solution for Overlanding. - I have a 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser with a roof rack from victory. I have two of these boxes side by side on the roof and I find that they're the perfect size and the best storage capacity without being too big or too small. I also have the hardware kit which allows me to take the boxes on and off the roof and they fit perfectly with the hardware kit. Pelican makes the best coolers and protective boxes and the durability of these boxes is second to none. I get compliments from other people who see them on the truck because they look like they're from the factory. They are more expensive than they feel like they should be but once they're in your hands you feel the weight of them and how solidly they close with a beautiful rubber gasket keeping the elements out . We've driven through rain storms at highway speeds and I have yet to find a single drop of moisture inside the box when we stop. There are four very sturdy latches for each box that ensure a tight seal and the options to put locks on the lids as well as the boxes to the roof is a deal maker for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Stuff

It's big and bulky and has lots of room. It's reasonably strong and not too heavy empty. The latches are a little clumsy but they're made to fold flat and you can put a small padlock on them. In the sun on a hot summer day the lid will warp a little but I was always able to latch it shut and it returned to normal after it got out of the sun.
