Mounting holes are not threaded. Use your existing bolts from your old engine, as the manufacturers use self-threading bolts upon installation. Review: Excellent easy install - I purchased this engine to replace the Briggs INTEK 540CC 18.5 HP in my Husquvana riding mower. Almost everything was plug and play. The only thing that i had to change was to remove the muffler on the new engine and install the old muffler on the new engine so the hood would shut. Install took about an hour. It fells good to buy an American made product for a change.

I got everything wired and hit the start button and it started right up. It has plenty of power for my 4 ft walk behind mower. The engine that was replaced was a Kawasaki FB460V which was 12.5 horsepower. Besides the wiring it was a direct replacement. Bolt holes line up and the throttle cable is almost in the exact spot. Very pleased with this engine, gave my old mower a new feel.

I purchased this engine to replace the Briggs INTEK 540CC 18.5 HP in my Husquvana riding mower. Almost everything was plug and play. The only thing that i had to change was to remove the muffler on the new engine and install the old muffler on the new engine so the hood would shut. Install took about an hour. It fells good to buy an American made product for a change.
