**Q: Can you use it on silk ?**
A: Unfortunately, no. The instructions on the back of the bottle say never to use it on silk, acetate (which it did mess up for me), and leather, carpeting or upholstery. Of course, oxyclean is the same way for silk. To me, dry cleaning, thelaundress online, or handwashing with Ivory Snow or Fels Naptha (which still may rinse off the sizing coating) is about the best for silk. Good luck!

**Q: What are the active ingredients?**
A: 1-5% oxalic acid

**Q: Can you use this for my button on my jacket?**
A: I would imagine you could, but it would depend what the button is made of.

**Q: Can you use it on colored clothing?**
A: We use on color all the time

Discolored my shirt even after doing a color test on the bottom where is seemed fine.. AND the rust remained. So now I have a light green circle around the rust. Disappointed! Further used and re-washed a WHITE shirt 3 times and the rust remains!
