Automatic float air vents for use in closed heating and cooling systems The compact and proven design ensures highly efficient and reliable operation. Water in a system contains air pockets that can lead to corrosion damage and reduced heat transfer. Ideally, a Flexvent float degasser should be installed at the highest point of the system. If air accumulates in the float vent, the float sinks into the housing and the air release valve opens. The Flexvent float air vent can be easily installed in any system thanks to its small dimensions. The air cushion in the upper part of the housing protects the valve seat sufficiently from contamination so that the Flexvent does not leak. Flexvent float air traps are used in closed heating and refrigeration circuits with a maximum glycol content of 50% To ensure excellent quality, we test all Flexvents before delivery.
