Unfortunately it is wired up completely wrongly for an A3 yellow adapter. The biggest potential problem is that the 12 V power terminal (pin 16) at the male end is connected to pin 1 at the female end and not pin 16 as per the spec. As pin 1 is not used in the ELM27 connector there is no harm done but this is only dumb luck in my estimation and could have resulted in a fried ELM if it had been connected to any other pin. I cut off the female end of mine and rewired it myself with a new socket.
