From the manufacturer About this article Please supports different work styles and offers long-term comfort and optimal support for the respective posture , regardless of whether you prefer to sit upright or lean back and relax. When designing the Steelcase Please headrest, we were inspired by the natural movements of the neck and neck. It offers you an unusually high degree of freedom of movement and more choice in terms of posture. It has a unique, patented synchronous mechanism between the backrest and the seat with a horizontally split backrest. The backrest for the lower back and the backrest for the upper back are connected to each other, but move independently of each other - just like people's upper and lower backs.

Review: Great chair. - I only have it for a couple of weeks but I feel the difference in terms of back support. It was easy to assemble and the quality is there - the chair feels solid and stable. I like all the nobs and settings - the settings are not excessive and yet provide a good adjustability and control. It’s very heavy which gives some more stability to it. A word of warning about non-slip glides - I could not use the ones that I had because the chair height adjustment piston sots very low and touches the ground first. So the glides should be at least as tall as the wheels. On the bright side - the wheels have some resistance to it to can be used on wood floor without a need to install glides. Overall - very happy and glad I chose the Please model for better back support. I had Herman Miller Mirra 1 before and this chair is a very good upgrade.
Review: Overally very good, could be perfect with some minor improvements. - Had this chair for 18 months now following a bad back and my old chair cushioning being as flat as a pancake. I initially tried the Leap but found the back too low and the lumbar not comfortable. On the whole i find this chair very comfortable and back support is incredible and it has many adjustable features. The only negatives are that it is a bit creaky which i wouldn't expect from a chair of this price, but this appears to be common from other reviews. The other negative is that the seat base wobbles a little which again appears to be consistent with Steelcase chairs, you do have to look for it though. On the whole though this is a great chair, took me a while to really get used to it though. The winning feature is the lower back support, which is also comfortable rather than a piece of plastic pushing into your spine, and the fact the back can be moved vertically.

Ok it’s not the cheapest of office chairs but the comfort is outstanding and the quality first class. The amount of adjustment is amazing and allows you to tailor the chair to the perfect position. If you can afford it, I’d throughly recommend it.
