Effectiveness: Works well as a food decoration for adding shimmer to drinks, cakes, cookies, and desserts. It disperses easily in liquid or on frosting and creates a noticeable metallic sparkle rather than a subtle dusting. Appearance: Very visually striking—gives a bold, glittery shine with an iridescent or metallic finish depending on the color. It’s designed to stand out, especially in clear drinks like cocktails or sparkling water. Value: Generally affordable for a small 5g jar. A little goes a long way since only a tiny amount is needed per serving, so it lasts through multiple uses if used sparingly. Safety / Quality: Marketed as food-grade and typically made with mica and approved color additives. It’s labeled vegan, allergen-free, and certified for food use. However, like many luster dusts, quality can vary by batch and manufacturer, so it’s important to confirm it’s specifically marked “edible,” not just decorative. Taste: Neutral—no real flavor impact. It’s purely for visual effect, not taste enhancement. Overall: A strong option if you want eye-catching food or drink presentation. Best for aesthetics rather than flavor, with good value as long as it’s used in small decorative amounts.

Sparkle That Steals the Show!
I recently sprinkled this NiHome Edible Food-Grade Glimmer Powder into my birthday punch, and it transformed an ordinary citrus sangria into a dazzling, party-ready elixir that had everyone reaching for refills. The fine, metallic shimmer—gold flecks in this case—dissolves seamlessly without any gritty residue, adding just the right amount of eye-catching glamour that catches the light beautifully in a glass pitcher. As a food-grade product, it gave me complete peace of mind serving it to kids and adults alike, with no off flavors or aftertaste to disrupt the refreshing fruit notes. A little goes a long way; I used barely a teaspoon for a gallon batch, and the effect lasted through the evening without fading. At this affordable price for a versatile jar, it's become my go-to for elevating holiday cocktails and desserts too—highly recommend for anyone wanting that wow factor in their next gathering. Five stars for fun and flair!

So fun. Crowd pleaser.
The people loved this in their cocktails on st Pattys. It worked well in lighter colored drinks but added with a touch of food coloring really made things sparkle and pop. I don’t seem to notice a taste difference, it was very fun. Seems we had to use a lot to obtain the sparkle but the little bottle lasted 3 days of hard partying in a busy Irish bar.

Stunning
The pictures don't do it justice for how vibrant and shiny the glitter makes the drink! It always wows company when we make Chriatmas cocktails! I drop a little bit into the bottom of the glass before pouring and that is all that is needed for it to mix and swirl around. The glitter is a very fine texture and does settle to the bottom, but thats to be expected. A little bit does a long way. I have used it in cocktails the last two Christmases and still have 3/4 of the bottle left. The bottle seals well as there have been a few spills out of the cabinet without issue. The bottles are tiny so it is on the expensive side. It's a fun way to jazz up some special occasion drinks!

Huge hit at my Galentine’s party!
This edible glimmer powder was a huge hit at my Galentine’s party! You truly only need a small pinch to get that beautiful shimmer effect—less is more here. I used it in prosecco with a splash of mango juice (see photo), and it instantly made the drinks look elevated and party-ready.

Shimmery effect to your drink.
This was fun! As others we’ve purchased before. It adds a layer to your drink. An effect. We were going for a shimmery swirl and we got it! It is easy to use. Tasteless, yes. The only downside is that if you use extra amount it can become gritty.

Much finer and more iridescent than other brands I have bought.
So pretty in party and holiday drinks. I have bought other brands in the past, and this is my first time buying this brand. This one is extremely finely powdered, much better. A very tiny amount goes a long way. It’s so fine that it looks like gold lamé on your finger, not glitter. There’s absolutely no taste or texture change in the drinks (we had it in champagne), and it does not make your tongue or lips glittery after drinking. Now I want to buy other colors!

Use this glitter to impress
This stuff made the drinks look *incredible*! I got it to use for my youngest nephew's 21 birthday and it was a hit with everyone especially their girlfriends. So. Cool. Looking.

Beautiful sparkle – takes desserts to the next level!
I bought this edible glitter for a birthday cake I was making, and it turned out amazing. The shimmer is gorgeous—just the right amount of sparkle without looking over-the-top or fake. I used it on frosting and even mixed a little into some drinks for a fun effect. It really adds that “wow” factor. What I love is that it’s super fine and easy to use—a little goes a long way. I just used a dry brush to dust it over cupcakes and cake pops, and it gave them a really elegant, professional finish. You can also mix it with a bit of lemon extract or clear alcohol to paint on fondant or chocolate. It sticks really well and dries fast. Also, it actually is edible, not just “non-toxic” like some of the craft glitters you see floating around. So that gave me peace of mind when using it on stuff people would actually eat. One tip: the container is pretty small, but honestly, unless you’re using it constantly, it’ll last you a while. Definitely worth the price for how much it elevates the look of your treats.

easy to use and reliably eye‑catching.
The NiHome Edible Luster Dust is a stunning way to add a touch of shimmer and elegance to drinks, desserts, and baked creations. We used it for a Christmas cocktail and it added a beautiful glow that catches the light without overpowering the natural colours the cocktail . The fact that it’s vegan and allergen‑free makes it an accessible, worry‑free choice. For anyone looking to add a luxurious sparkle to their culinary creations, this luster dust is both easy to use and reliably eye‑catching.

Very pretty, very sparkly
This product arrived on time and well packaged. It is a small plastic bottle, which has a tamper seal intact which is very good. It looks like a very small amount, however you do not need much - for the two glasses in the video I used the wrong end of a teaspoon to get some out and put two of these in each, so much much less than one teaspoon in each glass. It has no flavour so only affects the look of the drink. After a few minutes the glitter settles to the bottom so its needs stirring to make ait sparkle again but we did not find that to be an issue. Overall, very happy with this and will probably be back for more colours. The only issue is that the neck of this bottle is far too small for anything other than something like the wrong end of a teaspoon, so it might be difficult to get out without tipping too much if you dont have any tiny spoons or spatulas.

Good value for money
Very good for the value, the bottle small but you need a very tiny amount for it to be visible. I've only used it in drinks, the only drawback is it deposits at the bottom with time so you need to stir the drink from time to time.
