Free delivery and returns on eligible orders. Review: Great strings for electric and acoustic guitar - I have used this brand of strings many times. I find their price reasonable. The strings themselves give off a great tone and are quite smooth. Your fingers don’t drag or make that strong a metal scraping twang when moving up and down the frets like some other brands do. I get good longevity with these strings and their tone stays great up to the point of a break when I then replace the entire set. Review: Sound great play great and last a long time. - One of my Fav brands of strings. You cant go wrong with these they don't feel like a heavy coating and feel nice to play. They also last a long time, perfect for that guitar you only pick up now and again as well. ## Features - Electric guitar strings constructed with nickel-plated steel wrap wire - Played for the same crisp tone as an uncoated string - OPTIWEB Coating provides a natural feel - Our coating technology protects against common corrosion and debris buildup, extending tone life longer than any other brand’s coated or uncoated strings (Elixir Strings player survey) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01MQZ62XV | | Best Sellers Rank | 959 in Musical Instruments & DJ ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments & DJ ) 57 in Guitar Strings | | Body Material Type | Metal | | Brand | Elixir | | Brand Name | Elixir | | Coating Description | OPTIWEB Coating | | Coating description | OPTIWEB Coating | | Colour | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 6,106 Reviews | | Finish Type | Polished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00733132190522 | | Hand Orientation | ambidextrous | | Included Components | Guitar Strings | | Instrument | Electric Guitar | | Item Type Name | Strings for electric guitar | | Item Weight | 45 g | | Manufacturer | Elixir | | Manufacturer Part Number | 19052-U | | Material Type | Nickel plated steel | | Model Name | Elixir 10-46 Optiweb Light | | Model Number | 19052 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Warranty | Legal warranty. | | Recommended Uses For Product | Guitar | | Set Name | Elixir 19052 Strings | | Sound Profile | Crisp | | String Gauge | Light | | String Material Type | Nickel | | String gauge | Light | | String material type | Nickel | | UPC | 733132190522 | | Unit Count | 1 unit | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Elixir - **Colour:** Blue - **Instrument:** Electric Guitar - **String gauge:** Light - **String material type:** Nickel ## Images ![Nickel Plated Steel - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61RZiEstLsL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: For the custom light 9-46 set. what are the other 4 gauges? why is this vital info not on the packaging/description?** A: the other 4 gauges are - 11-16-26-36. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sound great play great and last a long time. *by M***K on 1 December 2025* One of my Fav brands of strings. You cant go wrong with these they don't feel like a heavy coating and feel nice to play. They also last a long time, perfect for that guitar you only pick up now and again as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing strings *by J***N on 1 July 2023* A long review would sound like I’m paid to shill for them, which I’d happily do if they want to send me some free sets. They say the Optiwebs are meant to feel like normal strings - I think you can still feel a slight coating but you very quickly get used to it (I like it) and they sound great. What’s especially impressive is that they last forever. I’ve had a set on my 335 for 11 months and they’re still silver and new looking. I’ve played that particular guitar probably an average of an hour a week but I don’t put them in cases, it’s been out in the room all that time. I’d like to try putting flat wounds on but these strings are still like new so don’t want to take them off. ## Frequently Bought Together - Elixir Strings 19052 Coated Nickel Electric Guitar Strings, Light (.010-.046) - Elixir Strings, Electric Guitar Strings, Nickel Plated Steel with POLYWEB Coating, Longest-Lasting Warm Tone with Comfortable Feel, 6 String Set, Light 10-46 - Elixir Strings, Electric Guitar Strings, Nickel Plated Steel with NANOWEB Coating, Longest-Lasting Bright Tone with Comfortable Feel, 6 String Set, Light 10-46 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co/products/50130378-nickel-plated-steel](https://www.desertcart.co/products/50130378-nickel-plated-steel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Colombia* *Store origin: CO* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
