The difference is stark. This brush keeps an incredibly fine point and seems to hold more paint so you can paint for longer before applying more paint to it. My painting has stepped up a significant notch and my details are far sharper. You have to look after it. I clean it in my water pot every five minutes or so and use 'The Masters' brush cleaner which you can get on desertcart and lasts for years. Also, only dip paint to about a third of the hairs. And never use speed paints or metallic with it as they will wick up into the ferrule when you rinse it, and dry in the ferrule and cause the hairs to splay.
