**Q: Used fresh paws pellet litter which was brilliant with this system but now cannot get it. Has anyone found a good replacement?**
A: Just use cheap wood pellets, they are perfect and a large bag lasts over six months with 2 indoor cats

**Q: Does anyone use Cheaper replacement pellets and if so please leave a link**
A: We tried the proper ones that came with the kit, yep they do work well, we have 5 cats and 3 trays and they did last a month, I tested some to see what happens if you put them in water, they stay solid, so I tried washing them, they were fine but could not get rid of the smell so on to plan B, tried wood, you need the right ones, one that breaks down well when wet so it goes through, we found one of the Pet at Home ones worked perfectly and was only about £5 a bag, so far one bag has lasted over 4 months as you only waste the stuff they have weed on that falls through. For our other 2 trays we use a cheap clumping litter £1.79 a bag and this way works out even cheaper as we get through a bag a week of that.

**Q: Can you use a plastic litter liner with this system?**
A: You can put a plastic bag over the tray at the bottom, we pet sit and one of our customers uses bags and no pad, it worked ok, bit messier if you don't use the pad, they also used wood litter like as we do, you cant line the top tray as it would make this system pointless.

**Q: How high is the front of the litter box, looking for on that’s no more than 10cms thanks**
A: The front is approximately 5.5 inches.
