For the manufacturing of Micrazym, only the highest activity raw material is used of porcine origin, in order to deliver high potency products. Micrazym also employs a dual release mechanism. 1. The capsule dissolves in the stomach, releasing the acid resistant micropellets, allowing them to mix efficiently with the food. The micropellets are enteric coated in order to protect the enzymes from being inactivated by the gastric acid. 2. When the micropelletes gradually pass from the stomach to the intestine (duodenum - higher pH), the enzymes are released to aid with the digestion process. What is size of capsule?

The capsule is a standard-size gelatin capsule, just like every (US-made) gelatin capsule I have seen. It contains a lot of small spheres in multiple colors which are designed to carry the enzymes through the stomach into the intestines so that they aren't digested before they can take effect.

Is this equivalent to 10k units of Creon?
