I originally bought a black version of this watch and loved it so much that I have now bought this blue version. Like many others I found the strap on the original black version to be stiff and inflexible at first [although that can be overcome by some gentle kneading and manipulation], but am pleased to report that the makers seem to have listened to the comments and the strap on the blue watch is still good quality but a lot more pliable. The original black version has kept excellent time in the year I have owned it so expect the same from this version. The watch is eye-catching without being ostentatious [in my opinion], and whilst being larger and chunkier than average is not too unwieldy for an average adult to wear [once again imo]. It certainly looks more expensive than the price I paid of c£65. Delivery was 3-4 working days, and packaging and presentation was good. I think I am a fairly typical average bloke, and I would be extremely pleased if someone had bought this for me as a present, so can highly recommend.

Bought this watch after returning a Sekonda that went faulty. Wanted soemthing for smart wear and wasn't disappointed when the watch arrived. Looks much more expensive than what it cost although whether it would warrant the alleged full price is anither question. Took it on holiday and wore it on evenings out and it caught a glance or two. Haven't tested it waterproofness out yet so can't comment on this element of the watch but if it's claimed level is correct then yes it is a good watch. In relation to some of the other reviews didn't find the strap too firm and thought it was reasonable pliable for new so maybe they have sorted this issue out.

Very well made. Looks superb and the contrasting colours of the strap make for a stunning watch at an amazing price.

I wanted the black face version but this went of of stock. This watch is very nice and good value for money. Unlike other 'chronographs' this one actually works and the hands reset properly ! Lovely watch, if I can pick up the black face version I will. *** Update 18 Jan - after wearing this twice, the bezel face plate with the country names has fallen off. The plate is actually glued on and not one piece. For the price i guess you would expect this but the glue used is no better that kids PVU glue *** I still like the watch but i've knocked my rating down to 3 stars - shouldn't see this happen, even on a relatively inexpensive watch ***

It is a nice looking watch, keeps good times, but the chrono buttons don't work properly. On the second day I twisted the bezel to set the time for dubai and noticed it was loose. Then it caught on the cuff of my shirt and the bezel came off a small piece flew to the carpeted floor and now I did not wear it again because I am scared the dial will just fall off. Suppose I should send it back but I don't have time. The BEZEL fell off as I was walking and now it is lost. I spend a lot of money with Amazon but as I cannot seem to return this watch I think they will lose my custom.

The Detomaso watch is a nice chunky watch which is let down by the inferior strap which failed within a few months when one of the pins dropped out. I have tried for the last 2 months to find a watch repaired that can repair it but no joy so now I have to send it back under guarantee which is a real pain from France.

I was looking for a reasonably inexpensive watch while my more expensive one was in for a battery and health check. When I saw this watch cone up it immediately jumped out at me and it was shortly in my basket. Delivery was around 3 days as it had to come from Germany. On arrival I was immediately impressed. It arrived in a hexagonal tin with embossed logo and a black cardboard sleeve. Inside as well as the watch was a small instruction booklet and a credit card style warranty card. The instructions are on quite a small font so may be a bit tricky to read for some. As for the strap this is a lovely thick leather strap and as some have already said will be a little tight to fasten, however I like this as I find thin straps tend to wear and break. I have had this watch now for about 2 months and stoll wear it more than my more expensive watch

I sent mine back due to not being able to read the face properly otherwise (must get glasses) I would have kept it, its smaller than the watch I already have, apart from that I would recommend it as it really looks good & expensive

Nachdem ich schon länger mit einer DeTomaso geliebäugelt hatte (hauptsächlich die eInk-Reihe), habe ich bei einem Blitzdeal nun bei der Firenze zugeschlagen. Ich trage die Uhr nun eine gute Woche, daher sind noch keine verlässlichen Aussagen über die Ganggenauigkeit zu treffen. Ich gehe hierbei jedoch von keinen negativen Überraschungen aus. Zum einen fallen den meistens Käufern Abweichungen von <2 Sek. pro 24 Stunden faktisch nicht auf (da geht vorher die Batterie leer oder es wird auf Sommer-/Winterzeit umgestellt), zum anderen haben die Firenze ein Seiko-Werk drin, dass gemeinhin als recht zuverlässig gilt. Viel entscheidender als eine Atomuhr-nahe Genauigkeit finde ich Optik und Wertigkeit, daher möchte ich darauf im Detail eingehen: -) Lünette Über die Lünette lassen sich die verschiedenen Zeitzonen ablesen. Nette Spielerei, aber nur für echte Jetseter so richtig sinnvoll. Wichtiger für den Normalverbraucher: Die Lünette rastet sauber ein, hat jedoch in jedem Raster ein klein wenig Spiel. Zudem ist sehr leichtgängig, wodurch sie sich bei mir mindestens ein mal am Tag durch normales Trageverhalten von alleine verstellt. Mich stört das allerdings nicht, da wie gesagt sonst eh keine Funktion. Der Ring selbst sitzt sehr gut auf der Uhr und hat kein Spiel! Das ist in dieser Preisklasse alles andere als selbstverständlich. -) Zeiger & Ziffernblatt Vorneweg: Über Design lässt sich streiten. Ob die Uhr gefällt muss jeder für sich entscheiden. Mir gefällt sie sehr gut. Mithin wirkt die Firenze durch den Tachymeter und die Chrono-Funktion etwas überfrachtet, aber ich finde das Verhältnis noch sehr harmonisch. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Berichten, empfinde ich Zeit als sehr gut ablesbar. Einzig die Stunden- und Minutenzeiger könnten etwas größer - vor allem breiter - sein. Die Zeiger selbst laufen sauber, ich konnte keine Reibungspunkte feststellen. Sie sind sehr akkurat verbaut, der Sekundenzeiger liegt perfekt auf der 12! Großes Lob an DeTomaso - das können viele andere (teurere) Uhren nicht so gut. Die Chronographen-Funktion ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und weicht von vielen bekannten Herstellern ab. Das ist aber eine Übungssache und ich nutze diese Funktion so gut wie nie, daher kein Problem. Alle Knöpfe sind sauber im Gehäuse verarbeitet, die Chrono-Knöpfe stehen aber für meinen Geschmack etwaszu weit raus und sind im Gegensatz zum Rest nicht mattiert. Dadurch fallen sie doppelt auf - Geschmackssache. Die Krone ist übrigens natürlich nicht verschraubt, wie hier mal fälschlicher Weise behauptet wurde! -) Band Die Achillesferse bei Uhren unter 500 EUR. Das wichtige vorweg: Für den Preis ist das Band top! Sicherlich kann man für weniger als 100 EUR hier keine Wunder erwarten. Ein gutes Metallbank kostet alleine schon so viel. Aber nachdem ich mehrere Uhren aufgrund eines völlig billigem Bandes retourniert habe, war ich sehr freudig überrascht. Die Glieder sind von ausreichender Stärke. Sie haben etwas Spiel, aber das ist nicht weit über dem notwendigen Bereich. Beim Kürzen des Bandes musste ich jedoch feststellen, dass sehr einfache Stifte verwendet wurden. Hier sollte man aufpassen, dass man diese nicht verbiegt. Die Schließe ist auch qualitativ über dem, was ich angesichts des Preises erwartet habe. Allerdings ist sie sehr anfällig für Kratzer. Das sind zwar die meisten, aber die matte Legierung leidet hier bereits nach einer Woche. Da dies ein grundsätzliches Problem eines "Daily rockers" ist, kann ich aber damit Leben. Fazit ===== Selbst bezogen auf die UVP ein absolutes Preis-Leistungs-Highlight abseits der bekannten Marken. Wer in den Blitzdeals für 50-60 EUR zuschlägt macht in meinen Augen ein richtiges Schnäppchen. Die Verarbeitung ist durch die Bank weg auf einem in dieser Klasse guten, teilweise sogar überdurchschnittlichem Niveau in im inneren tickt ein Markenwerk. Sie hat die beschriebenen, minimalen Schwächen, die aber für mich auch unter Berücksichtigung der Kosten keinen Abzug rechtfertigen. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Uhr, die sich nach deutlich mehr anfühlt als man erwarten darf! Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Preis Leistung toll

Pues el reloj es muy bonito, realmente elegante. Hay quienes prefieren el color acero para los relojes, otros el dorado, pero lo cierto es que el negro de este reloj queda de maravilla, tanto para ir de casual como de traje. El tamaño del reloj es un pelín grande, dato a tener en cuenta si somos de mano/muñeca pequeñas, cosa que además le hace ser un poco pesado, pero en cualquier caso siempre cómodo de llevar. Las funciones de cronómetro y tal pues bueno, cumplen, aunque yo más bien lo veo como un detalle estético ya que lo habrá usado un par de veces o tres, aunque mas vale que esté y no haga falta a que no esté y haga falta. Los materiales con buenos, robustos, así como los pulsadores y el cierre, que aguanta a la perfección. Producto muy recomendable.

Da mir die Uhr auf Anhieb gefiel und es viele gute Bewertungen gab, habe ich sie mir bestellt. Als die Uhr hier eintraf, habe ich gleich gesehen, dass es ein wirkliches Schnäppchen ist. Sie sieht sehr edel aus, auch wenn blau wohl nicht zu allen Outfits passt. Außerdem ist sie sehr gut verarbeitet und funktioniert einwandfrei. Und das alles zu einem ungewöhnlich günstigen Preis.

Mi aspettavo un qualcosa di piu'; cinturino troppo rigido, non comodo da sfilare da occhielli, a lungo andare credo si possano rompere: corona ballerina; aspetto nella sua globalita' un po' grossolano
