The illustrations are colourful and engaging and have lots of detail so you can "look for the dog" or "count the cars" or "find the red one" etc, adding to the enjoyment and educational experience. The pages with all the vehicles on at the beginning and end are a great opportunity to discuss which one is your child's favourite and what they have learned about them. "Emergency" is now a firm favourite with my son, we read it repeatedly and both my husband and I enjoy doing so. The illustrations are colourful and engaging and have lots of detail so you can "look for the dog" or "count the cars" or "find the red one" etc, adding to the enjoyment and educational experience.
