**Q: Would this be suitable for a 5 yr old or is it a bit basic?**
A: Yes Louise, I bought this for my 5yr old grandson. The globe could be called 'basic' in as much as the continents simply click in place, but it is more about the level of the child's knowledge of geography and wildlife (also marked on the globe) at that age. We saw that he found it interesting when first playing with it and believe it improved his knowledge, in readiness for when world geography comes up in class at school.

**Q: Why does this not show Antartica which is the 7th continent?**
A: HI, Thank you for your question, Antarctica shows at the bottom of the globe and there should be a label to include this on the globe and details are included in the guide.  Thanks Claire

The globe was a great 'hit' with my four year old grandson. The colour-coded slot-in names for each Continent really caught his fascination, in addition to actually placing the Continents themselves onto the globe. The informative stickers and Ocean names also added fun as well as learning. An excellent, educational item which I would fully recommend.
