There’s a version that’s battery powered that you can purchase **Q: Does this have a uk electric plug** A: It does. We plugged it into our UK plug and it works. It will also remember the tune you set it too if you need to unplug the base say for hovering. Once you plug it back in, it’ll ring the standard “doorbell tone” to let you know it’s plugged in again but it’ll remember all the settings. I highly recommend this and it’s good there are 2 buttons. It’s also loud enough to hear upstairs and downstairs. Hope that helps :) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 October 2026* Great job ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 July 2026* It works ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it's meant to, but with Del Boy style door bell sounds ! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 25 March 2026* I hate to give it a 4 star instead of a 5 star but the alerter tunes are so damn aweful it really does make me wonder what they were thinking. At one point, it remided me of an episode of Only Fools & Horses when Del Boy was punting a load of dodgy door bells and the tunes were various National Anthems. I mean, there is simple bing bong sound which is suitable but I can't imagine using any of the other sounds, but to be fair, it does what it says it does, it's just the sounds let it down tbh. Take care when first plugging it in, it's on the loudest setting and horrific. If you're deaf, bonus, if you have neighbours, expect them to move. Putting it on the lowest volume is loud enough for most humans. ## Frequently Bought Together - CallToU Elderly Monitoring Call Button Wireless Caregiver Pager Smart Senior System with Light Personal Buzzer Alarm 2 Portable Transmitters 1 Plugin Receiver - LiCB A23 23A 12V Alkaline Battery (5-Pack) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co/products/474422482-calltou-wireless-personal-alarm-for-elderly-1uk-receiver-2waterproof-button](https://www.desertcart.co/products/474422482-calltou-wireless-personal-alarm-for-elderly-1uk-receiver-2waterproof-button) --- *Product available on Desertcart Colombia* *Store origin: CO* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
