The addition of a replacement battery door with the pop-up USB-C port for direct charging was actually a game changer, but if I need to hot-swap the entire battery it is a chore as I have to peel the foam outside away now. As to the wind proofing this worked like a charm. My voice is noticeably more muffled but the fact the wind is 98% cut out makes hearing me that much better over all. I also feel like this cover will offer a bit of extra protection from the camera which is nice. It's painless to install and if you have modifications to the GoPro it's easy to trim foam away with scissors.
