(not what they’re made for, but I make it work) I just squeeze real fast they just about cut my felt all the way around. I have to use scissors for 1/4 of the larger sized circle & the small circle punches tiny circles of felt no problem. Still easier to use these than freehand tiny felt circles. For the price I couldn’t complain or find an alternative. Glad I bought them.
