Review: PUT THEM IN WATER & SQUEEZE! - Great Bass Traps they're pretty Solid thick and heavy. They come vacuumed sealed so out of the box they won't just expand by themselves. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, put them in water (Like a bathtub as shown in pictures) squeeze them like a sponge and they'll soak up the water and expand and take form. Lastly throw them in the dryer for about 15 minutes or so or use a heat gun or hair dryer to get em nice and dry. Then use whatever adhesive you deem appropriate as they are pretty heavy I recommend using something strong like Gorilla if these are permanent to the room. Sadly they don't come with any means to stick them which is why I gave them 4 stars. All and all GREAT product highly recommended! 💯👍🏽
Review: A great trap for my room and bass voice for podcasting - This is great for my sound padded room and smooths sound for my deep bass voice. They do need to be soaked in water, squeezed out then slowly dried on a drying rack to fully expand. But they are very very delicate and will tear easily. They are also heavy so two sided tape will barely hold them up. Since they are very delicate and will tear I highly HIGHLY recommend reinforcing them with black tape ( I used wide gorilla tape) I folded the tape over every edge to make a 1-3 border on each triangle side. I would go as far as taping the entirety of each side. I used a double sided tape good for 60 lbs and it would still barely hold it. Get this for your recording, sound, room. It will take some care to install it.

## Features

- Purpose-Built for Trihedral Ceiling Corners – Designed for the three-surface junction where two walls meet the ceiling, placing deep porous foam at a common low-frequency buildup point.
- 16.5 in Face, 12 in Depth – Each pyramid-shaped trap uses deep open-cell polyurethane foam to provide substantially more porous treatment depth than standard acoustic wall panels.
- Cleaner Low-End Monitoring – Helps reduce boomy, muddy corner buildup so bass notes, kick drums and speaker playback are easier to evaluate during recording, mixing and critical listening.
- 4-Pack Upper-Corner Coverage – Treat up to four ceiling corners while preserving usable floor space and keeping vertical wall corners available for stackable Delta Bass Traps.
- Complete Room Treatment System – Pair with acoustic foam panels at reflection points and Delta Bass Traps in vertical corners; ideal for studios, podcast rooms, rehearsal spaces and home theaters.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What’s the best way to mount them to the wall?**
A: Use Foroomaco’s Mini Ear pads for clean, secure installation. They hold firmly without wall damage or residue. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying.

**Q: Do I have to install them in the ceiling corners?**
A: Bass traps are designed for three-surface corners where low frequencies naturally build up. Installing them on flat walls greatly reduces performance. Place them symmetrically in ceiling or floor corners for optimal sound balance.

**Q: How can I tell if they’re working properly?**
A: After installation, play music or a bass-heavy track in your room. You’ll notice that the boomy, muddy low-end becomes tighter and more controlled — a clear sign the traps are absorbing excess bass energy.

**Q: My products arrived slightly deformed. How can I restore their shape?**
A: The foam may compress during shipping. Lightly soak the bass traps in water, squeeze out the excess, and let them air-dry completely to regain their original shape.

**Q: The products have a strong smell when first opened. Are they safe?**
A: Yes. The bass traps are made from formaldehyde-free polyurethane acoustic foam and are completely safe for indoor use. The initial odor may come from sealed packaging but will fade naturally after a day or two in a ventilated space.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great trap for my room and bass voice for podcasting

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Looking Foam Panels
*by J***A on May 3, 2026*

Nice foam panels, if you look at it from a home studio perspective and with realistic expectations. Yes it is only foam and the price to produce them was probably extremely low, so I get why people suggest these should be cheaper. Either way I have bought artwork for my studio around the same price and it is nothing but paper or canvas. As far as room treatment goes anything $50 dlls ain’t gonna do much, that’s the reality of it, either way they do help improve the studio’s look and feel which for creators your space definitely affects your work mindset and overall creativity so in that essence these are definitely worth it. I ended up mounting then as “clouds” over some proper and expensive wood panels that are over my monitors and these really do look the part, they visually seem almost the same quality as my wood panel, so they don’t just look like a random piece of foam. If you like investing in your studio to make your work space feel better plus helping a bit to improve the sonic quality of the room these are a great fit. By the way, ended up not soaking them in water I just let them sit for around 36 hrs and they expanded fully, a hair over listed measurements, also used the included adhesive strips plus a couple more 3M strips I had laying around for extra security, on a clean, alcohol prepped surface and they are holding on tight. No funky smells or anything either, I am pretty particular about smells and these smelled like nothing really.
