Review: Haunting - Prodigy follows the story of Grace, a young woman in a ton of trouble. Her life spirals from the backlash of an abusive relationship, the death of a child, family estrangement and a drug addiction. She turns to music as a way of absolving the pain, and in the process is taken (dragged!) through the process of redemption. As someone who has faced some of these same issues, the author gets it spot on. She draws Grace's story so expertly, in beautiful prose that is at times almost poetic. In a way, she even manages to make heroin use poetic in a Greek tragedy sort of way. I cried throughout the story and found myself rooting for Grace, even when I felt like strangling her. But even though the main character makes a lot of bad choices, none of them are arbitrary. You KNOW the reasons she makes the choices and it makes perfect sense because the author does such a good job of letting us inside of Grace's head. The ending is very satisfying (tear jerking!). Without giving it away, it doesn't tie it all up in a neat little bow, which is way more realistic given the nature of the story. It leaves the reader with a sense that while Grace didn't get it all right by the end, she's finally on the right path. While there is a romance in this story, the focus remains on Grace. Pierce isn't her redemption; he's just the conduit through which she sees the redemption for herself. But there are some really sweet scenes between Grace and Pierce, and even a bit of humor that balances out the heavy parts. This is a book I'll be reading again.
Review: This is one of the best written books I have ever read - Wow. This is one of the best written books I have ever read. Look forward to more from the this author.

I love Prodigy! Except I don't think it's fair that you have to pay for half the stuff. I'm talking real money! What I mean is that you have to become a member and to become a member you have to pa ymoney. Prodigy has it's good things too. Like it is very well written. I would definitely recommend this game because you can sign up for free except to become a member. you are having fun and learning.
